Abstract

This paper presents an adequate control for smoothing the power injected by a double-fed induction generator (DFIG) in the grid. Its principle is based on a simple coordination between the DC bus voltage control and the voltage battery energy storage systems (BESS) control. Smoothed output power and good operating performance of DFIG strongly depend on the stabilization of the DC bus.
