The distance between the locations and intermediate position will be informed through voice command. The obstacles and hazards of the path will also be identified while travelling and the respective information will be given to the user through voice command. GIS database used to store the details of all spatial and map information. The user can change map information with respective to their country and city. Abstract

BLI -NAV is a blind navigation system exclusively designed for blind people. The system with portable and self-contained feature allows the blind people to travel through familiar and unfamiliar environment.
