Alexander’s body buried for a few years in Memphis, while later carrying it somewhere near Alexandria. Those who honored Alexander as no one else was the Romans. The Roman emperors pursued his glory and his fame, so they imitated his attitude and his plans. The identification of the tomb of Alexander has some problems and it is worthwhile for further research and study.
