Abstract
MESFET oscillators with dielectric resonators in the shunt feedback exhibit excellent performance, but their design is usually based on empirical methods or on computer optimization. In this paper a systematic approach, which allows direct determination of all circuit embedding elements for prescribed value of the load conductance and the resonator coupling coefficient, is described.
