Teacher training for the creation of accessible courses at atutor

Abstract

This article shares the obtained results in the teacher training phase for the analysis, development and publication of accessible courses making use of the learning management platform: ATutor. This training phase is carried out within the framework of a research project: “Didactic and technological development in teaching scenarios for the training of teachers who welcome diversity: factors for its implementation and validation at the Francisco José de Caldas District University (UDFJC) “. This is a research developed within the framework of the AIDETC (Alliance of Institutions for the Development of Education and Technology in Colombia) a research program co-financed by Colciencias; the program aims to create a pedagogical, didactic and technological architecture for the training of teachers in and for diversity. The objective of this phase was the training of teachers in the creation of accessible courses in ATutor, following a research methodology based on design. Twenty-nine teacher-training teachers from Language, Mathematics and Science communities participated in this phase. As a result, it is possible to obtain a series of accessible courses published in the LMS ATutor and tested in natural scenarios with the undergraduate students of the UDFJC.
