Abstract

Generalized Frequency Division Multiplexing (GFDM) is a flexible waveform possible choice for the next communication system that offers advantages such as low out-of-band (OOB) and high spectral efficiency. The High Power Amplifier (HPA) is operated close to the saturation region for increased efficiency. However, working in that area will result in nonlinear distortion.
