Abstract

This paper is concerned with the networked fault detection for a class of singular systems. The considered plant has multiple outputs and only one of them can be sent to fault detector at each time instant due to medium access constraint. Moreover, the packet may also be lost during transmission. The whole networked fault detection system is modeled as a stochastic singular switched system, sufficient conditions for the stochastic exponential stability of the system as well as the design method of the fault detector are derived via the Lyapunov function method and the Linear matrix inequality technique (LMI). A numerical example is provided to illustrate the feasibility of the proposed method.
