Microgrid is a discrete energy system consisting of distribution loads. The distribution loads are unknown and uncertain in parameters that may produce the voltage and current deviation of microgrid. The objectives of designing controller is to obtain the high tracking voltage and current against distribution loads. Design of the controller is done by choosing the reference model, set the adjustment mechanism and controlling parameters. The designed controller performance is tested under the action of dynamic, harmonic, asynchronous machine loads using MATLAB Simulation. Abstract
A model reference modified adaptive PID controller is designed in this paper for voltage and current control of islanded microgrid.
