Abstract
Art education implemented in schools so far has not been able to become a means that can develop students' creativity optimally. Art plays a role in constructing taste, processing sensitivity, and becoming a means of self-expression. This can be the key to student success in various ways, including academic improvement. The pandemic era makes art learning done online seem conventional and less interactive. In the new normal era, teachers' strategy of inculcating moral values through art is expected to be well accepted and applied by students. This study discusses the application of art learning through games to encourage students to be more active in learning. The art learning method implemented in this study combines various art performances using the national song Bangun Pemudi Pemuda with collaborative methods (singing, drama, and games). This method was chosen to form connectivity between teachers and students, students and students, and elements of art that blend without any barriers. The type of collaborative performance used aims to test musical understanding and instill character values through the song Bangun Pemudi Pemuda. The object of this research is Kanisius Junior High School students, Temanggung. This research uses qualitative methods with field studies. The results of this study indicate the relationship between the structure of the melody, rhythm, and tone in the song can affect students' creativity and emotions, which has implications for students' character and impacts the academic side of students.
