The proposed system combines AR, VR and mobile Internet technologies together to enable online digital interaction, so that to improve the user experience. By using the unmanned airborne vehicle (UAV) photography method, detailed panoramic views of various scenic spots in a historical town are captured. Moreover, the three-dimensional (3D) models of several cultural landmarks are also collected to enhance the elementary information for online interaction. Subsequently, the panoramic views of various scenic spots are utilized as the visual reality scene to set up a complete and continuous route for tour guidance. Abstract
