Abstract

The article deals with the relevance of the formation of modern students ' reading competence. School education needs to develop a systematic approach to the formation of reader competence based on interdisciplinary connections. The ability to work competently with texts of different genres and styles is a prerequisite for the success of students not only in the lessons of Russian language and literature. In the article, the authors give an example of a comprehensive work that could be included in the bank of didactic materials for the diagnosis of meaningful reading skills.
