Abstract
ABSTRACTThis paper presents our works upon production of new pyroelectric material - Triglycine Sulfate (TGS) dopedwith serine. Many authors investigated influence of various dopants on electric properties of TGS single crystals. In our recent works we investigated influence of organic dopant on domain structure of TGS and correlation ofdomain structure with the electric properties of new obtained single crystal.Key words: ferroelectric, pyroelectric effect, detector, single crystal 1. INTRODUCTIONFerroelectric materials have wide spectrum of application in contemporary electronics. That is why the newmaterials obtaining previously defined properties are desired. Ferroelectric single crystals showing electric response on the temperature extortion are called pyroelectrics. The most popular application pyroelectrics foundin detection of the JR radiation. Because of its unique properties such as direct conversion of JR radiation to theelectric current, wide spectrum of operation, high sensitivity, low capacity, low production cost, large detectionareas, no need of additional cooling, pyroelectric single crystals are the only solution in many cases.TGS belongs to the ferroelectrics with hydrogen bond and is well known material for the pyroelectric detectors.Unfortunately its electric properties are changing with time and may vary even in case of samples cut from the
