Abstract

The transition to digital technology and the introduction of automated methods for processing air data requires the production of an assessment of available network resources. The article provides a brief analysis of the existing regulatory framework on the requirements for information transmitted through digital communication channels for purposes of air traffic control and proposes an evaluation procedure for the performance of a wireless network for transmitting information on the air environment at civil and state airfields.
