Global trends towards language education have in the past two years been dominated by digitalization. Other significant notions within this field include the holistic approach and authentic sources. The military environment represents an environment full of very specific and unique communication situations, thus the trends within the language education for military purposes must reflect the specific needs resulting from the aims and the conditions of the teaching / learning process.
