Abstract

In this paper, the design and implementation of SENSEP ACK - a smart system to monitor room environment of mushroom cultivation farm is reported. The system measures the temperature, humidity, light and CO2level with appropriate sensors. The obtained data can be utilized to control the environment of the nursing room with the help of external devices such as water pump, exhaust fan, light bulb and air conditioner. An android/web-based application has been developed for the ease of monitoring the system. The software application allows automation and remote operation of the external devices to maintain and control the optimum environment.
