Abstract

Scattered energy from targets includes important information about shape, size and material that could be used for identification. In this paper, effect of ferrite coating on the natural poles of a metal sphere is investigated. The Cauchy method is used for extraction of natural poles from frequency domain scattering response of the object. The main advantage of Cauchy method is that the challenging step of separation of early time and late time has been prevented. The variation of poles as a function of ferrite coating parameters is reported.
