The creation of areas of advancing socio-economic development as a measure to support the economy of mono-cities

Abstract

The state's interest in the support and further development of mono-cities at the Federal and regional level has necessitated the creation of new "growth points" in the territory of the Russian Federation, territories of advanced socio-economic development (TOSER), special economic zones (SEZ), science towns, technoparks, cluster formations, as well as closed administrative-territorial formations (CATF) and monocities. However, in Russia this sphere of economy is not yet given due attention and interest to the creation and development of these territorial entities. In this regard, this article is aimed at the study of the territories of advanced socio-economic development as one of the main measures to support the development of the economy of mono-cities, proposed at the state level. The purpose of this study is to analyze measures to support mono-cities, such as the territories of advanced social and economic development (TOSER), which are aimed primarily at the development of industrial production.
