Abstract

The quantitative reliability analysis plays a significant role in assessing the performance of the distribution system operation strategy. This analysis is greatly influenced by customer interruption. In this paper, the islanding issue is considered as a customer interruption. The islanding is detected by simultaneous measurement of F&V (Frequency and Voltage) variation using passive islanding detection method.
