Abstract

In the low voltage DC system, there are many fault isolation equipments, such as mechanical circuit breaker, solidstate circuit breaker, hybrid circuit breaker, fuse, etc. How to select fault isolation equipment is a challenge for traditional relay protection. This paper analyzes the influence of different fault isolation equipment on the reliability of low voltage DC system, analyzes the correlation between reliability index and economy, proposes an objective function with the lowest comprehensive cost as the objective.
