Abstract

Abstract In 1999 the KLOE experiment started to take data at e+ e−-collider DAPHNE at Frascati. To the end of 1999 an integrated luminosity of 2 pbn−1 which is equivalent to 107 φ-meson decays has been acquired. This data sample has been used to study the detector performance and to start data analysis in all directions of the wide physics program of the KLOE experiment.
