Analisis Kesejahteraan Sosial Karyawan Swasta Dalam Kenaikan Upah Minimum Kabupaten/Kota Terhadap Pengangguran Di Kota Medan Tahun 2019-2022

Abstract

Indonesia is a legal state based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia which was established in 1945 to provide certainty, order and legal protection for every Indonesian citizen, one form of providing social welfare to the community. "Basic law article 27 paragraph (2) concerning Every country has the right to work and a decent living for humanity". And "Law article 33 paragraph (1) concerning the economy is compiled as a business based on kinship. Where people have the right to choose their work and the state guarantees the social welfare of the community. By carrying out an analysis from researchers from 2019-2022 there were fluctuations in the number of open unemployment in the city of Medan, recorded in August 2022 reduced to 8.89% with an increase in the district/city minimum wage of 1.22% in 2022. And there was an increase in the minimum wage in in 2023 of Rp. 3,624,117.59 with a percentage increase of 7.52%. So the community of workers or laborers will no longer have difficulties in social welfare in their lives and this inflation will not affect the social welfare of the community with the increase in the Medan district/city minimum wage.
