Abstract

Production of electricity from the sun energy is one of the favorable energy world-wide. To full-fill the load demand, dc to dc converters are used between Photovoltaic output and the connected load. For a particular load, each dc to dc converter is not able to provide the load demand due to switching the load beyond the maximum power tracking (MPPT) region. That is why load-line analysis is one of the major concern before the design of converter topology for a specific PV panel, converter and load. In this paper, load-line analysis of dc to dc converter is performed. This paper also infers about the converters and derives the linkage between input and output impedance of the dc to dc converter and attainable load impedance range of the different converters.
