Abstract
Currently, it is known that the technology is becoming an important instrument in our culture and, its use, a means of inclusion and interaction with the world, especially to people with disabilities. Several studies have been conducted exploring the specifics of Augmented Reality and gamification technology. However, most are focused on the treatment of people with motor disabilities. Thus, this article proposes the AR-G Educational Activities, an Augmented Reality with gamification application to assist the learning process of students with intellectual disabilities. The results of quantitative and qualitative tests show that the application contributed to the improvement of skills that, the traditional teaching methods used so far by students that had not been seized by them in a conventional way. It is an easy to learn tool and provides satisfaction from potential users during use. As for learning material, it provides individual knowledge construction facility or collective and presents evidence of motivation of the students while conducting their activities, as well as more active behavior of the same.
