Abstract

This paper discusses the cooperative research and development work between Delphi Interior Systems (formerly known as Delphi interior & Lighting Systems) and the U.S. Army’s Tank Automotive & Armaments Command, Research, Development, and Engineering Center (TARDEC). Technical Areas addressed include real time human interaction, scripted simulations, alternative approaches to scripting, digital human factor analysis, and how ergonomic software interfaces with virtual manufacturing/simulation environments.
