Abstract
The paper presents a comparison of five fault tolerant multilevel DC/DC converters. Initially the paper describes the transitions needed to change each standard multilevel DC/DC converter into a fault tolerant circuit. Then an assessment is carried out to identify the most cost-effective fault tolerant multilevel DC/DC converter topology.
