Analisis Perkembangan Ekspor Impor Kelompok Barang Ekonomi Di Provinsi Sumatera Utara Tahun 2016-2020

Abstract

International trade is one of the important sectors of domestic income where there are export and import activities that benefit the people, provinces, and countries. This research was conducted to illustrate the development of economic goods groups in North Sumatra Province because this group of economic goods is one of the export and import commodities in North Sumatra Province. This research applies a type of quantitative descriptive research where this category of research is a depiction of the circumstances or characteristics of the data studied to get answers to research problems.The data used in this study is qualitative and quantitative data where. This qualitative data is data obtained from interviews and documents through government policies on exports and imports, and quantitative data is data in the form of figures obtained from the value of the development of exports and imports of economic goods groups. The results of this study state that the imported export commodities of the economic goods group are still dominated by the export group, evidenced by the surplus or the positive trade balance and the value of the international trade ratio.
