Abstract

The FCC-mandated implementation of the EIA-708-B standard for digital closed captioning by July 1, 2002. This paper reviews some important digital closed captioning implementation issues and recommendations addressed in CEB-10-A, "EIA- 708-B Implementation Guidance".
