Abstract

In this paper, the electrothermal characteristics of a two-chip power delivery network (PDN) structure is investigated by using a frequency-domain co-simulation solver. The solver is developed based on finite element method (FEM) by circularly solving the wave equation for a full-wave electromagnetic analysis and the heat conduction function for the thermal analysis.
