This study explores the ecological facts amidst the conditions of COVID-19 pandemic and aims to review some strategies to maintain the improved ecological conditions up to the post-pandemic era. This paper is a result of qualitative exploration based on secondary data and literature study. The analysis of the topic leads to some conclusions, including that the sharp decline in human activities due to the COVID-19 pandemic has brought a positive impact on the ecological condition, making it more natural and healthier. The most significant improvement in the ecological condition of the earth during the pandemic is the reduced air pollution. Meanwhile, the negative impact on ecology includes the increasing volume of plastic waste and medical waste. The outbreak of COVID-19 may not be the last pandemic faced by humans if they continue to destroy the nature. Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has been existing for more than a year, and nearly all sectors have been affected by this condition, including the ecological sector.
