Abstract
Moringa (Moringa oleifera lam.) is easy to grow. However, it is necessary to choose well-drained land to cultivate so that the soil can evacuate excess water that the roots can absorb. The study aimed to compare the combination of the suitable planting media and the concentration of Manutta Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF) on the growth of Moringa plant seeds before transplanting into the field. The hypothesis was suspected that there was an influence of soil, compost, and burnt husk planting media with a specific ratio and concentration of LOF on the growth of Moringa plant seeds. The employed a completely randomized design (CRD) method. The treatment design comprised two factorials of nine treatments with three replications. The combination of each treatment, namely: 1) the ratio of soil, compost, and burnt husk (2:1:1) with the concentration of LOF 5000 ppm; 2) the ratio of soil, compost, and burnt husk (1:2:1) with the concentration of LOF 4000 ppm; 3) and the ratio of soil, compost, and burnt husks (1:1:1) with the concentration of 10ml of fertilizer mixed with 3 liters of water (equivalent to 3300 ppm of fertilizer). The best treatment combination presented the highest leaf production was M2P2 treatment with a composition Agritrop: Jurnal Ilmu-Ilmu Pertanian (Journal of Agricultural Science), Desember 2021 ISSN 1693-2877 EISSN 2502-0455 Volume 19 (2) http://jurnal.unmuhjember.ac.id/ index.php/AGRITROP
