Hubungan Karakteristik Sosial Ekonomi dan Keterpaparan Informasi Kesehatan dengan Penerimaan Vaksinasi Covid-19 pada Masyarakat di Kecamatan Medan Tuntungan

Abstract

Covid-19 vaccination is one of the efforts to strengthen the body's resistance to the disease. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between socio-economic characteristics and exposure to health information with the acceptance of covid-19 vaccination in the community in Medan Tuntungan District. This research is a cross sectional survey research. The population of people aged over 18 years in Medan Tuntungan District is 68,000 people. The data is analyzed by using univariate and bivariate analysis. The results of the study are that there is a relationship between sources of information about covid-19 and education (p-value 0.000), there is a relationship between sources of information and work (p-value 0.000), there is a relationship between work and vaccine status (p-value 0.040), there is a relationship between education and the incidence of infection ( p-value 0.001), there is a relationship between education and owned health insurance (p-value 0.000), and there is a relationship between work and owned health insurance (p-value 0.000). The conclusion is there is a relationship between the level of education, work, and information exposure with the receipt of the covid-19 vaccination in the Medan Tuntungan District.
