Improved Video Captcha

Abstract

“CAPTCHA” means ‘C’ompletely ‘A’utomated ‘P’ublic ‘T’urning test to tell ‘C’omputers and ‘H’umans ‘A’part. This is used to improve the security for internet Based applications. It is an automated test used to find whether the user is a human or a bot. This is mandatory to know because many bots are developed to illegally use the Internet sites content. CAPTCHA give a text or an image and asks its user to enter the same text. But some types of CAPTCHA are being broken by bots and some CAPTCHA are not user understandable i.e. they are difficult to read by humans. Many new types of CAPTCHA techniques were introduced to improve the security of the internet sites like 3D CAPTCHA, Devanagari CAPTCHA etc. In this paper we are going to introduce a new technique for CAPTCHA which is hard to break by the bot. The new technique is that we write a program that counts the number of pulses of a human body. This is very hard for a bot to break the CAPTCHA that can only work for the number of pulses of a person.
