Therefore, students can engage in various recreational activities that lead them to learn basic soccer skills. The problem with the research is that most of the learning is done in the light of the usual methods and lesson plans. Uses techniques that can teach students basic soccer skills. However, this does not lead to awakening students' inclinations in the required way, especially in the initial phase. This stage is accompanied by difficulties and the lack of time to learn the skills required. The aim of the research: ❖ preparation, application, and implementation of leisure activities for students, University of Babylon, Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, first stage. ❖ Identify the impact of the effectiveness of recreational activities and learning some basic skills in soccer for students of Babylon University, College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, first stage. The researcher has used the (experimental method) to meet the nature of the problem to be solved. The research community included first-year students in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences University of Babylon for the 2021-2022 academic year. It included the control sample (46) and the experimental sample (46) after the researcher administered the skill tests and the psychological happiness scale on the two groups. The researcher worked on the application of leisure activities to the experimental group and included (12) leisure units, with two leisure units per week, the duration of one unit (30 minutes) and the leisure units were divided into the selected skills. The unit was conducted in (20) minutes, with the main part lasting (10) minutes and the unit was completed.
