Abstract

This article describes design of the developed pulse counter for photon counting measurement system. In the article, the system structure that includes the pulse counter device “Pulsar” to do registration of a weak light is discussed. Data transfer features are realized in two interfaces of the device. Communication features of the device combines advantages of analog mode and digital mode of data transfer in measurement system. “Pulsar” device application for electrogenerated chemiluminescent assays are shown with using both possibilities for data communication.
