Research on Design of News Video Retrieval System Based on Semantics

Abstract

Relying on news shot boundary detection algorithm, key frame extraction method and other technologies, a hierarchical news video semantic index structure is proposed, and a retrieval and analysis system model based on news video semantics is constructed, and news video collection modules are set up. Index module, retrieval module, database module, text information, motion frame information, time information, etc. of various news shots, make information collection, boundary detection, key frame marking and extraction, semantic index, determine the relationship between each frame and dynamic key frame, and then complete the key information recognition and extraction of news video images, voice, and subtitles.
