Single phase ac supply system is considered with unity power factor (p.f.) sinusoidal signal with phase similar to the voltage source. The power electronic model used to perform decoupling of output of D.C. signal component and an alternating current power supply at a frequency twice of the line frequency. To minimize the distortions and harmonics at output a power control mechanism using PID controller. It computes the error with respect to the reference signal in each power segments between two cycles and regulates the voltage by monitoring the feedback observed at load side. This scheme introduces a power adaptation circuit mechanism to make a persistent output.
