Abstract

In this work we study the modeling and control of a Doubly-Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) using in a wind energy system whit a power of 1.5 kW, the objectives of this control is to optimize the captured wind and extract the maximum of the electrical power produced from the aerogenerator against wind speed changes, the Nonlinear Backstepping approach with Lyapunov function was used to control the system studied, the robustness and performance of the proposed method is tested in terms of reference tracking under voltage dips. The whole system was simulated under dSPACE Controller Card DS1104 Real-Time Interface, which runs in Simulink/MATLAB environment and ControlDesk 4.2 graphical interface.
