Path Analysis of the Impact of COVID-19-related Stress Response on Phobia and Anxiety Experienced by College Students

Abstract

Objective : This study aimed to explore the effects of the different dimensions of psychological stress on the horror and anxiety experienced by college students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods : The convenient sampling method was employed to select 169 respondents for the questionnaire survey. Results : The correlation coefficients between the variables were significant, and the path analysis model registered satisfactory fitness. Conclusion completely mediating role in the effects of psychological stress on anxiety through horror.
