The Role and Application of Social Emotion in University Ideologicaland Political Education

Abstract

In this study, we delve into the role and application of social emotions in university ideological and political education.We recognize social emotions, collective emotional experiences shared among individuals in a society, as essential inshaping students’ views. The exploration focuses on how educators can strategically use these emotions to encouragecivic consciousness, ethical behavior, and social responsibility. Our analysis indicates that incorporating social emotionsinto the curriculum amplifies the effectiveness of ideological education, cultivating empathy, solidarity, and activeparticipation in societal issues among students.
