Research on the Relationship among Executive Education Background, R&D Efficiency and Enterprise Value

Abstract

Education can increase a person's information and skills store, including those needed to identify and pursue opportunities for success. Based on the Branding Theory and Upper Echelons Theory, this paper selects the data of China's Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share listed companies from 2010 to 2019 as the research sample to empirically test the impact of the three subdivision characteristics of executive education background on corporate R&D efficiency and enterprise value.The research results show that R&D efficiency has a significant impact on corporate value, and it plays a part of the intermediary effect in the process of executive education background affecting enterprise value.
