Development of energy efficient wood stove for rural application

Abstract

Biomass is the predominant fuel for the cooking of rural areas. Even though several improved Chulas has been developed and deployed through Government initiatives there is limited penetration only has been achieved due to the improper design. The proposed stove has simple in construction and able to fabricate in the local areas which leads for easy availability and accessibility in rural areas. Also this paper presents the complete analysis of the energy efficient wood stove for its thermal efficiency and smoke analysis.
