Abstract

This paper describes the design and implementation of system to measure the heart frequency and rate based on a Doppler ultrasonic sensor, an analog filter and amplifier board, a frequency detecting circuit, an envelop detector and a microcontroller. The system is designed to measure the correct heart rate and give statistical information about the heart properly operation.
