Abstract

K-shell ionization cross sections of Chromium and Manganese have been calculated in the Binary Encounter Approximation and the results have been compared with theoretical cross sections of ECPSSR and the available experimental observations. Present results are found to be comparable to those of ECPSSR with a very less computational effort. Our cross sections show good agreement with experimental values.
