Application of Flip Classroom in Computer English Teaching

Abstract

With the development of society, the traditional teaching methods and ideas are constantly changing. Flipping classroom has become a hot topic in the field of education, especially in computer English teaching. Flipping classroom is to make full use of modern computer network technology, put learning knowledge before class, internalize knowledge in extracurricular, thus forming a very high learning efficiency. In view of this, this paper explains the concept of flipping classroom, the basic mode and the difference between it and the traditional classroom. On this basis, this paper analyzes the current situation of computer English teaching, and emphasizes again the importance of flipping classroom in English teaching. Finally, this paper explores the application of flipping classroom in computer English teaching from three stages: preparation before class, strengthening in class and expanding after class, so as to provide innovative ideas for the teaching and development of computer English.
