In order to do a comparative study between sites, it is necessary to correct the measured data and to transpose them to a standard site of open area roughness at a height of 10 m above ground level. To do this, correction factors as a function of the soil roughness length and the anemometer height are developed and delivered in the chart form enabling us to transpose the wind data of a measurement site to a standard site. Abstract
Considering the sites variety and anemometric towers, it is very difficult to directly compare wind measurements.
