Intergenerational Program Research to Refine Theory and Practice.

Abstract

Summary This paper briefly reviews a number of theories that provide the rationale for undertaking intergenerational programs and upon which intergenerational research concepts are based. After discussing the importance of using these theories to establish the framework within which program research occurs, a number of recent studies are reviewed and implications for future research and practice arc presented.
