Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate students’ perceptions and feedback towards the flipped learning implementation at an institution of higher learning. Data were collected via an online survey to 226 students from various majors who had at least one-year exposure to flipped learning. The results of the study reveal that the majority of the students had positive perceptions towards the utilization of flipped learning in the courses at the institution. Specifically, most of them reported that flipped learning promotes their motivation to learn and improves the learning effectiveness. Also, they expressed their satisfaction with their lecturers in the flipped learning courses. Regarding students’ feedback, most of them admitted that they were very engaged during the lesson. However, there are several complaints concerning students’ insufficient preparation in the pre-lesson phase leading to the lack of time for active learning activities.
