Abstract

The paper is dedicated to the use of up-to-date technologies in designing a modem for a new-generation satellite communication terminal. The analysis of available solutions regarding developed satellite modems is carried out. The structure of the developed dual-band modem providing broadband satellite communication in the Ku and Ka frequency bands in the DVB-S2 standard with the use of adaptive modulator circuits is presented.
