Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of smartphone applications in the development of English vocabulary knowledge, to explore initially whether there is a link between receptive vocabulary knowledge and receptive language skills, and the influence of affective factors in the development of vocabulary knowledge.
