Abstract
In this paper an automatic identification method of system parameters is presented. The procedure is intended to be helpful in obtaining the parameters of more complicated systems than a state-of-the-art drive application consisting of an inverter connected directly to the AC machine. The laboratory setup and the analysis in the presented work deal with the system containing the common 3 phase inverter connected with either Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine or Induction Motor through the LC-filter. This filter changes the order and the complexity of the system and due to that fact the standard identification procedures programmed in the industrial inverters can not be utilized.
